When the police arrived I was covered in blood they went after Shen with shot guns and taped off the area I was laying in while they waited for the ambulances, finally they arrived and took me to the emergency room where they took many pictures and video taped everything. I went into surgery not too long after that.
Staples were required in my left hand where I had grabbed the blade of the knife, and my right foot where Shen had cut the tendons also required a cast, and meant that I would not walk for quite sometime.
In all my other wounds were stitches as none of the others were quite as bad. They put them in the left side of my nose, my left cheek just above the corner of my mouth, the middle finger of my left hand, my left hip, and at the base of my skull at the back of my neck.
I had minor cuts covering 50% of my body, not too mention all the bruises, the rugburns on my knee, the hair that he had ripped out, slices around my neck, the busted lips, or the black eye.
I was released from the hospital on November 12th 1999 with out the use of my left hand and right foot I had to have a wheelchair and I would start Physical Therapy after all the sutres had been removed which happened a month later December 10th 1999.
I had my Physical therapy Evaluation and started therapy the next week. I would do it 3 times a week for 4 weeks.
